SALARY: R163 680 per annum (Level 03)

REQUIREMENTS
An appropriate NQF Level 03 (Grade 10 / ABET / AET) or equivalent qualifications as recognized by SAQA. Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence plus Public Driving Permit (PDP).
Knowledge And Skills: Knowledge of the Province in which functions will be performed.
Knowledge of the procedures to operate the motor vehicle e.g. procedures to obtain trip authorities, complete the logbooks of the motor vehicle, to obtain consumables (e.g. petrol) and obtain basic services (e.g. fixing a flat tyre).
Knowledge of the prescripts for the correct utilisation of the motor vehicle and the requirements for the storage of the vehicle.
Knowledge of the procedures to ensure that the motor vehicle is maintained properly.
DUTIES
Transport Officials to various places.
Monitor performance and conditions of government vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance on the allocated vehicle and report defects timely.
Complete all the required prescribed records and logbooks with regard to the vehicle and the goods handled.
